Comments: Argues that vertical integration of a firm does not make it easier to manage static complexity than a decentralised firm, but from the dynamic transaction costs arising from economic change. But a decentralised organsisation may have an advantage when uncertainty is greatest. Complexity as lack of knowledge within and about a framework.
