Mike Sandbothe's "The Temporalization of Time in
Modern Philosophy" at
http://www.uni-jena.de/ms/ms_time.html is very
interesting in this regard.

Sandbothe's article summarizes three tendencies in
contemporary philosophy of time: (1) unification, eg,
Prigogine; (2) pluralization, eg, Ricoeur; (3)
relativization, eg, Rorty.

In a companion essay, "MEDIA TEMPORALITIES IN THE
INTERNET" at
http://www.uni-jena.de/ms/mediatemp.html, Sandbothe
has some brief but sharp comments on Paul Virilio's
"dromology" ("Virilio's programme of critical
exposure is underlain by the religiously motivated
idea of the story of decline of a divinely
preordained temporality occurring under the banner of
technological evolution branded as 'devilish'") and
then "the temporal implications of cultural practices
which are developing in the new medium of the
Internet are analysed" in the context of the theories
of Jacques Derrida and Richard Rorty.
