A close friend of Ben told me the following:
>You will by now have heard of Ben Cullen's sudden death.
>It is tragic that one so young can be taken from us so suddenly.
>
>They say bronchial asthma, but he did
>not suffer from that. Equally, he was very
>fit and did not smoke or drink.
....
>No, he was not hospitalised. He just died suddenly
>in bed. They really don't know what it was, except
>that they think Arrhythmea.
In the meantime, I have agreed that I will edit and publish Ben's
unfinished notes for the "Evolution of Complexity" symposium, as a kind of
tribute to him.
Chris Chippindale <cc43@cam.ac.uk> at the Cambridge University Museum of
Archaeology & Anthropology will take care of his other papers:
>With colleagues, we are looking after Ben's work, both in
>seeing through to publication work completed or in press and in seeing if
>anything else of practical value can be done. I am in particular myself
>paying attention to things in press.
