Don's absolutely right that his terminology is standard and accepted in
THERMODYNAMICS and PHYSICS.

However, we here are doing SYSTEMS THEORY. Which means that our usage might
vary a bit.

And that's OK.

As long as we are smart enough to keep careful track of what we're doing. I
think we are.

So Don: thanks for expanding your mind a bit (as I see you're doing).
Remember that a lot of us come to this not from physics, but from biology,
philosophy, mathematics, etc. This has come up before in other cases.

And everybody else: learn a little real thermo.
