circuit theory is not reality

Circuit theory is an idealization. Things like resistors, capacitors,
and inductors don't exist! At least not the way we usually formalize
them in circuit theory. A real "resistor", for example will generally
exhibit capactiance and inductance under the right circumstances.....
possibly these real objects are complex too?
now, what if we were to be able to use this complexity to totally
reinvent the way we make electrical things?
