Re: Non Physical Experience

This is a response to the idea of creating a more structured environment
for topic discussion as an alternative to the often lengthy posting and
reposting of comments via the PRYNCYB-L listserver. I think HyperNews may
be a good solution that can work in tandem with the list.

I have a HyperNews site that can be tested for collaboration on building
structured documents on any topic. Please feel free to test this and create
discussions as desired.

This particualr site was created with an ecosystems orientation because
that's my work, but since it is currently blank (just re-established with
the latest version of HN) it can take any direction and I can re-do the
front page if that is desired (or create a new base document). The system
is currently open to anyone without human approval. You do have to join as
a member, but that is an automatic process and will not subject you to any
mail harassment even though a list of members is kept in the system.

Once joined, a member can add comments at any level. Thus at the base level
we can begin a topic using the PRYNCYB-L "thread" subject, e.g., "Physical
and non-Physical experience." Perhaps that first entry is blank or at some
point someone can put in a summary of the topic. Under this heading
comments can be added, under which responses to any depth (I believe it is
unlimited as to depth, but I'll have to check on that). In the comment
response system the user can select appropriate icons to characterize the
response. These may not be terribly important, but what the heck.

The administrator of the base document has the ability to move and delete
messages, to re-organize the document.
