I really like the direction of the latest exchange between you and Don. As
I suspected we are in full agreement in principle and motive. How to do it
is trickey and leads to intense discussion. Regarding a focus on
"understanding human understanding," I think this is the MAIN goal of it
all. What good will it do to understand nature if we don't, in the process,
understand ourselves? It's a little like the Biblical saying (I don't
really push this stuff, it just came up as some anchient wisdom) that goes
something like: "What does it profit a man to gain the world, and loose his
life."
