**** Call for abstracts and papers
****
A gray literature will be developed from world wide contributions that
address the issue:
"Modeling biological and social systems"
The models are expected to address the issues raised by Dmitri Pospelov
on the nature of natural open systems.
Papers and abstracts are to be reviewed and organized using a natural
language processor and database system produced by Highland
Technologies.
The conference announcement and other materials are posted at
acsa2000.net.
The July 27th on-line portion of the workshop is a walk though to
develop the notion of a persistent on-line scientific conference
The gray literature will be processed by Highland's Knowledge Processing
Technology and posted to acsa2000.net.

We need abstracts and short position papers from as many respected
scholars as will make a contribution on very short notice. We are
looking for individuals who are aware of the research that Karl Pribram
has published and who are willing to comment on the new joint work by
Ray Bradley and Karl Pribram on biosocial collectives, the nature of
communication, and holonomic theory. We are interested in contributions
from the Applied Semiotics groups in Russia and the Ukraine. Submission
of text can be made to ::: paul@htech.com. Submissions with graphics
should be made after contact with Paul. Prueitt at 301-306-8200.
Links to existing world wide webs sites will be advertised from the
on-line conference during the conference (contact organizational chair,
Jack Shulman:: 72662.133@compuserve.com).
Real time comments to the on-line conference will be moderated from the
Georgetown site and will be addressed by Pribram, Bradley and Mike
Coombs. Comments can reference posted abstracts or short position
papers (these will be posted at acsa2000.net).
This gray literature will be processed using the knowledge processing
software developed at Highland. This procedure is discussed in a paper
posted at acsa2000.net.
