Introducing myself

I have been surfing the 'Net for only a few weeks and I don't as yet know
all the niceties and rules. I should have introduced myself to you (I'm
told) when I applied to join this list, but instead just said I was in
exchanges with Cliff Joslyn; I apologize.

So, I wish to introuce myself to you, now, by quoting what I said when I
made initial contact with PCP (my God, how we love TLA's...that is, three
letter acronyms) -- which, by the way, makes it appear we are involved with
some illicit chemical compound:

>I live in Toronto, Canada. I have been a trial lawyer for nearly 30 years,
and I have spent a great deal of time and energy during the past five or six
years trying to understand the world in which we are now living in terms of
cybernetic principles and ideas.
>
>My principal interests, right now, are cybernetic theory, complex systems,
social systems, social system design and management practices and strategies.
>
>I am presently designing, creating and building a course/seminar for
managers and executives in the business world entitled "Quantum Navigation:
Mastering Complexity in Management." The course focuses upon new
organizational structures and models utilizing three- dimensional space [in
particular, the Platonic solids] and collaborative [as contrasted to
adversarial and/or cooperative] interpersonal strategies.
>
>I am close, personal friend of Stafford Beer (he has been living in Toronto
for more than 10 years) and a student and ardent admirer his work; I
participated with him in the process of creation of his latest invention,
"Team Syntegrity."
>

Now that you know I can defend myself ( ; - }>) you can launch your missives.
