My dictionary only explains the verb 'affiliate' as

How did you hear about PCP?
I have found PCP after I have searched for Information
Services regarding Complexity using one of the major
Search Engines of the WWW

Please take at least one page to describe your work
and how it might relate to PCP:

I am a student of Physics at the Free University of Berlin and
currently I am mainly working on my master thesis about Lattice
Gauge Theory of QED. This work is part of an ongoing project
regarding the question whether QED is a non-trivial theory. My work
also includes the parallelization of the algorithms involved, so
that the computations can be carried out on a massively parallel
supercomputer. Apart from this rather practical work I am also
working on the philosophical foundations of Physics, especially
Quantum Theory.

I also work as a student assistent at the Konrad-Zuse-Center for
Information Technology Berlin, where my main field of work are
World-Wide Information Systems, especially the WWW and WAIS.
Moreover I am interested in the theoretical approaches to an
understanding of the phaenomenon Cyberspace, the philosophical
implications of Cyberspace, and its implications on society.
Currently I am also starting an internet based working group in
germany on computer mediated communication and the social questions
involved.

I see the relation between my work and PCP mainly in the investigation
of the foundations of the World and of Cyberspace. When I found PCP I
was rather intrigued by the cybernetic view of the world and I would
like to participate actively in this project.
