My own home page ,under construction, deals with the need for a new model
of consciousness to help the global condition. I have links to Buckminister
Fuller's page, and others, to give people the linked opportunity to see
how the web is offering new models of consciousness. I have written for
Leonardo, the Journal of art science and technology, under Roger Malina,
and have recently been the "on-line assistant" to develop the home page for
Computer Currents magazine in Emeryville CA http://www.ccurrents.com/cc.
I want to write more on these issues and relish staying in touch with your work.
My own work has been focused on modeling information using 3D models of
organic compounds. You take for instance a structure like NaCl and follow
these links of the molecules and you can mirror information positioning.
This also applies to geometric objects such as a cube. By putting geometric
models in a 3D space and using the surfaces to indicate various pieces or
categories you have a volumetric association of information rather than a
linear model. My biggest concern now is how do we take this new information
capability and apply it to the social condition. Can we as a species apply
these ideas directly to culture for its betterment?
