Small but important correction here: it is *Valentin Turchin's* metasystem
transition theory, which is further expanded in PCP. I have merely added
some insights of my own to a theory first formulated by Val. Read Val's
book, "The Phenomenon of Science", to get the original ideas. It is not the
first time people wrongfully assume a PCP idea which I describe was really
my idea. The same has happened with Val's concept of "cybernetic
immortality".
