Well, I agree with almost everything you've written on this thread. We're
talking about spontaneous orders here, the kind of thing Hayek was
talking about, so it's difficult to say whether such things even *can* be
"controlled" from below.

Given *my* values, I don't have any problem with this. I'm not sure how
well or poorly this meshes with the values of other people on the list,
though.
