Title: Complexity of Forcasting in a Class of Simple Models

Journal: Complex Systems, 2, 269-303

Comments: The difficulty of forecasting sequences of symbols produced by automata. Complexity is defined as the average information for computing next symbol. Shows that forecasting difficulty not related to Kolmogorov, entropy complexity of sequence but a grammatical complexity in a probabalistic setting.
